To assist delegates we have added the answers to some frequently asked questions.  If the information you are searching for is not on this page, please do not hesitate contact the Conference Manager's by email info@adsc2010.com or phone 07 3368 2644.
What do I do on arrival at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre?
To access the 5th ADSC areas delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors need to collect their registration pack which will include their name badge.  Please go to the Registration Desk which will be located on the Ground Floor opposite the entrance to Plenary Hall 1.

The Registration Desk will be open at the following times:-
Monday 8 March - 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Tuesday 9 March - 7.30 am to 5.00 pm
Wednesday 10 March - 7.30 am to 5.00 pm
Thursday 11 March - 7.30 am to 3. 00 pm

PLEASE NOTE
Delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors MUST register prior to attempting to access the conference areas of the Melbourne Convention Centre.  To access the conference areas, delegates, speaker, sponsors and exhibitors MUST wear their NAME BADGE at all times.  Those without an official NAME BADGE will not be permitted entry.

What is the dress code for the conference?
Delegates employed by an Australian police organisation are NOT required to wear their uniforms at the conference.

Dress code for the Conference Sessions, Welcome Reception and the Conference Dinner is "Business Attire" - ties are optional for gentlemen.

Can people who aren't registered access the conference areas?
No, only registered delegates, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors can access the 5th ADSC conference areas.   The official conference name badge must be worn at all times.
What time does the Welcome Reception start on Monday?
The Welcome Reception will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre commencing at 5.00 pm on Monday 8 March, it will conclude at 7.00 pm.

Drinks and cocktail style food will be served at the reception - note dinner is not provided.

Is there car parking available for conference delegates?

There are two car parks available for visitors to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Melbourne Exhibition Centre

1060 undercover parking spaces managed by Wilson Parking, entrance off Normanby Road is open 24 hours, 7 days a week

Fees:

0.0 - 1.0 hour    $6.00
1.0 - 2.0 hours    $12.00
2.0 - 3.0 hours   $18.00
3.0 - 4.0 hours   $24.00
4.0 + hours   $28.00 max.


Evening rate - $8.00, entry after 5pm and exit before 6am
Weekend rate - $10.00, per exit, per day
Earlybird rate - $10.00, enter between 6am - 9am and exit between 3pm - midnight


Melbourne Convention Centre - South Wharf Retail Car Park

550 open air parking spaces managed by Wilson Parking, entrance off Normanby Road, open 24 hours, 7 days a week
